Description
Euston Station, London, 1888.
Lord Lionel Nevermoor shortly before leaving by railway to Liverpool to take the RMS Etruria to the Americas. Miss Charlotte Westwater snapped the shot as they were waiting for the conductor to sign passengers to embark. She keeps it in her reticule, and under her pillow, and sometimes she kisses it or holds it to her breast while staring dreamily out of the window across Grosvenor’s Square waiting for him to return from his business trip. Meanwhile, Jack the Ripper is loose in the East End. Fun.
I can’t seem to decide whether He’s looking fondly or smug at the camera! Thanks *Georgina-Gibson for the amazing reference picture! I hate top hats because perspective. I love my cartoony smoke (muchos thanks to *Aerion-the-Faithful for the idea/technique). I need my books on Victorian fashion to arrive because I am running out of clothes to put Him in. I refuse to put Him in the same clothes twice!
Can’t seem to get over how the Emperor insists on turning into Lord Waytoohot whenever I draw him as Nevermoor.
